Confirmation of Successful CDR File Submission
Engineers Australia confirms the successful submission of a CDR (Competency Demonstration Report) through an acknowledgment of receipt, typically sent via email to the applicant. This communication includes confirmation that the CDR has been received and provides details on the next steps of the assessment process, such as review timelines and any additional information or documentation that might be required.
How does Engineers Australia confirm a successful CDR File Submission?
Answer: After you successfully submit your application, you will receive an email notification at your registered email address. This email will include your EA ID number and application number, confirming that your application has been successfully submitted.
The processing of your application will begin once the fee payment is received. For payments made via credit card, the transaction will be processed instantly, and a receipt will be emailed to you immediately. If you opt to pay through an invoice, a receipt will be sent to your email once the payment is confirmed. Please pause the video at this point and follow the instructions as illustrated in the diagram.
What's the validity period of the Engineers Australia CDR Skill Assessment?
Answer: In the case of skill assessment from Engineers Australia, the assessment letter has no expiry date and is valid for a lifetime. However, they are aware that the Department of Home Affairs validity policy may vary from this.
As such, if the Department of Home Affairs requests an updated letter, please contact Engineers Australia for instructions. Currently for any CDR outcome letter Department of Home Affairs demands a renewal letter after every three years. For this, you need not file an application or write your Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) again.
